Logistics Scheduler will be responsible to managing and executing import and export documents negotiating rates with transporters
Duties
Adding new transporters and updating insurance
Develop relationships with transporters and clients
Compile transport contracts
Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA
Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo
Daily admin function
Collecting POD’s
Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery
Executing on contract terms and conditions
Stock as well as quality control
Experience and Education
Relevant logistics qualification
Matric
Fully bilingual
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
