Requirements:

Proficient in Excel, Word and Microsoft office software
Proficient in Syspro is essential
Good Supervisory Skills
3 Years Auditing, Accounting or Cycle Counting experience
Drivers license

Duties:

Run an auditable Cycle count function within the stock holding processes
Ensure that reliance on inventory records with the aim of eliminating the yearly wall to wall stock count.
Manage a function of audits and resolution of variances.
Record counts, results and adjustments in an adequate and effective manner to ensure tractability and reliance on the records by the external auditors.
Plan the Cycle count process to ensure compliance with plans and mandatory counts.
Ensure that company policy, work instructions and procedures related to Cycle counts are adhered to.
Audit Inventory and related internal controls for adequacy and effectiveness.
Prepare adjustments, identified in counts, timeously with appropriate investigative evidence.
Effectively manage the team to ensure effective Cycle count processes.
Prepare cycle count performance reports on a monthly basis and present at the Operational Meeting.
Assist with any related ad hoc functions where/when requested by a manager.
Ensuring internal customers are serviced effectively
Fostering a good and helpful working relationship with all employees
