The successful applicant for this role must have a minimum of 3 or more years previous working experience as a SEAFREIGHT CONTROLLER in INTERNATIONAL OCEAN IMPORT OPERATIONS

Key Purpose:

Handle freight movement for international ocean import shipments in order to exceed customer service expectations while maintaining compliance with all government and industry standards

Key Knowledge

Matric
3+ years of experience in international ocean import operations
Relevant Certificate/Dip/Deg would be advantageous
Knowledge and understanding of either or both international air and/or ocean import operations, procedures requirements, compliance, and all import regulations.
Must have a good command of the ENGLISH language (read, write, speak)
Ability to read write and speak in other languages advantageous
Working knowledge of MSOffice
Must hold South African citizenship
Willing to contribute to situations occurring after hours
