We are looking for Bookkeeper to Trial Balance for processing all the necessary entries of account in the general ledger

*Responsible*

Managing and controlling the general ledger.
Balancing books of original entry to the general ledger.
Producing monthly reconciliations.
Managing and controlling the fixed assets register.
Attending to any payment matters.
Performing any management exercises required by the Financial Manager or Directors.
Capturing the cash book entries.
Electronically maintaining beneficiaries and loading payments to Creditors and Suppliers in the banking system.
Managing and controlling daily cashflow schedules for creditor payments.

*Minimum requirements*

A Tertiary Qualification in Bookkeeping is preferred.
Previous experience having worked as a Bookkeeper is essential.
Previous experience taking a financial set of books to trial balance and reconciling ledger accounts is essential.
Previous experience having worked within the construction or engineering or related industry is preferred.
The candidate should have preferably worked on projects.
Knowledge of SAP is essential with an intermediate working knowledge of Excel.
Previous experience having assisted and conducted annual audits is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R13,000.00 to R15,000.00 /month

Education:

Diploma (Preferred)
