Mouldcor Constructionis seeking Debtors Clerk to ensuring all documentation is collected and recorded correctly regarding company information and charges
Duties & Responsibilities
Contact all account holders to follow up on outstanding payments
Identifying payments received and processing thereof on the relevant accounts with remittance
Processing of payments to accounts on Pastel
Maintains a good control over the credit limit per account
Maintains refund account and the processing thereof
Prepares monthly reports in accordance to set deadlines
Attend to any inquiries in a timeously and professional manner
Implement credit control procedures: Ensure that all customer credit application forms, CGIC cover applications and internal credit limit application forms are completed. Assist the Export Co-coordinators (Logistics department) when this is required.
Ensure customer payments are correctly allocated
Follow up if no payment is received
Processing of Customer Journals –
Reconciliation of Customer accounts
Daily checks on customers and follow up on credit notes etc
Keeping customer records up to date and changing necessary details – eg Telephone numbers etc
Authorizing of Picking slips gets done throughout the day, and takes a lot of our time as its done continuously
Making sure that the customers are in the correct Category
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric
Previous experience as an in a similar role
Can work independently and within a team
Meet deadlines
Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail
Must have a valid drivers’ license, preferably own vehicle as well
Must have clean credit and criminal records
Basic Debtors / Bookkeeping diploma or certificate advantageous.
Advanced Excel skills.
Minimum 4 years’ experience as Debtors Clerk Supervisor or Senior Debtors Clerk.
Good communication skills.
