The Job

Detailed Job description:

Support the Factory Site Manager in assuring all the supplier’s work meets the schedule by monitoring and reporting the daily status, reporting and keeping record of any delays
Coordinate and manage the loading of segments to be transported to the wind farm.
Monitor the state of completion of the keystones in the factory
Complete daily production report to indicate status of segments produced, also showing the relevant position of each segment in the yard.
Report on any delays in production and manage the supplier to keep within the schedule.
Conduct daily Transportation Logistics Meeting with the Quality Team and Supplier’s Production Manager and supplier quality team and Manager
Coordinate with the Quality and production Manager and supplier’s Production Manager that relevant segments are quality signed off and ready and in a position to be loaded onto trucks.
Coordinate with the team at Wind Farm which specific segments need to be sent to the wind farm on a particular day as per the permits available and the needs of the wind farm.
Coordinate with Transport Company to ensure trucks and permits are ready for daily transportation of segments to the wind farm site.
Monitor proper and timeous loading and strapping of segments onto the trucks by Concrete Tower Supplier and Transport Company.
Complete daily report with regards segments loaded and transported from factory to wind farm
Report incidents and non-conformance related to all the above to the Concrete Tower Factory Site Manager
