An employment opportunity exists for a Professional Nurse- Theatre Scrub based in the East Rand of Gauteng.
The registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospitals standards and policies. The incumbent will be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patience, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs, is a model in the delivery of evidence based care and will actively participate in Clinical Governance. The position reports to the Line Manager.
Required Skills
decision making : 1 to 2 years
coaching skills : 1 to 2 years
theatre experience : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Job requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Nursing
Diploma in Operating Theatre
Registered with SANC
2 years’ experience in Private Hospital in theatre will be advantageous
Liaison with Doctors
1 to 3 years theatre scrub experience
