An employment opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse ICU Qualified based in Cape Town.

The successful candidate will contribute to the effective functioning of the unit to ensure quality nursing care to all patients. The position reports to the Unit Manager.

Required Skills
decision making : 1 to 2 years
interpersonal skills : 1 to 2 years
icu experience : 2 to 3 years

Candidate Requirements

Job requirements:

Must be a Registered Nurse with SANC
Must have an ICU qualification/ Critical Care Training
2 years’ experience in ICU as a Registered Nurse is essential
Experience in a Life Hospital will be an advantage
Must be flexible to work on both day and night duty/shift work required
Understanding of a private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage
Competencies required: strong customer orientation, team player, energetic, resilient and well organized, fast worker
Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
Strong interpersonal skill
Required to have a good critical clinical decision making
