The role:
Orion-ILS invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Operations Supervisor position based at the Newcastle branch. The role is responsible for Planning, Directing, Monitoring and Controlling branch operations through intelligent planning in line with Orion-ILS Service Level Agreement. To deliver efficient and cost-effective functionality and sustained profitability of the business operation. To ensure the smooth and optimum running/use of company infrastructure
Key accountabilities:
â?¢ Ensure that operations are managed effectively and within SOPâ??s and SLAâ??s.
â?¢ Daily updating of dashboard statistics
â?¢ Strict control over the stock on the floor
â?¢ Hands-on approach and walking/inspecting of the floor on a daily basis.
â?¢ Fleet Management â?? ensure that fleet is managed according to set down procedures, latent failures to be identified and addressed with respective branch managers,
â?¢ Traffic Fine Management â?? AARTO is managed according to set down principles and guidelines.
â?¢ Ensure that internal audit report is managed effectively internally by Operations and Night-shift Manager
â?¢ Ensure that all staff at Branch is adequately training to perform job functions as per SOPâ??s
â?¢ Personnel and time management
â?¢ Manage SLE reports
â?¢ Service level management as per clientsâ?? requirements and Loss control
Skills experience:
â?¢ Computer Literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Express.
â?¢ Interpersonal Skills â?? be able to liaise with all staff members, co-workers and Providers.
â?¢ Multi-skilled and talented team worker
â?¢ At least 2 years of relevant experience â?? mainly operational
Other:
â?¢ Minimum NQF level 4 and studying towards NQF level 5
â?¢ Transport management Certificate / Diploma – Advantageous
â?¢ Financial Management Certificate – Advantageous
