## ROLE OF POSITION:
The role of this position is to oversee, manage, administer and invigilate the examination process of the Pearson Institute of Higher Education Higher Certificate in Information Systems (IS) department, which includes daily examinations. The role also includes general academic administration duties when required.
## DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Due to the nature and size of the organisation, it is not possible to provide a complete and comprehensive list of responsibilities. Responsibilities may change from time to time.
Examination Administration
General
Safekeeping and securing of the examination room, including relevant examination question papers, answer booklets/sheets, examination memoranda and lecture guides.
Keeping of register for signing out and in of examination papers, answer sheets and lecturer’s guides.
Formal examination bookings.
Confirmation of eligibility of students to write examinations.
Publishing daily schedule of student examination bookings.
Filing of academic records.
Liaise with Head Office on examination material updates.
Keeping all examinations material up to date.
Liaising with Head Office on marking, remarking, moderation and queries.
Keeping of daily examination register and capturing of marks electronically and on file.
Invigilation of every Information Systems examination and other examinations as required.
Managing hardware and software practical examinations in accordance with relevant procedures.
Logging queries into examination query log, dealing with queries in accordance with the examination procedure and policies and filing feedback on queries.
Creation and sending of failure notices to Programme Convener, student and sponsor.
Accurate and correct capturing of student mark and student details.
Familiarise, adhere and enforce company/examination policies and procedures.
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Programme Convener: Information Systems.
Any other responsibilities as reasonably delegated by the Programme Convener or Principal.

EXPERIENCE
+ Previous experience in an administrative role
+ Previous examination invigilation experience would be beneficial
