Assembly Coordinator:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Ensure sure that the production areas assigned have the required resources (methods, equipment tools, raw materials and people) to execute in an efficient manner the production plan in quantity and quality. To manage these resources in an effective and safe manner.

FUNCTION:

Correct management of the human and material resources assigned to meet the productivity and output goals
Manage and use correctly the equipment in the areas
Execute the activities that will drive the area to meet the goals in output and adherence to the production plan.
Maintain a work environment free of offensive conducts, meeting and supporting the compliance of the work rules.
Meet and improve KPI’s related to the area
Meet and improve 5S’s requirements for the area
Solve operational issues in the area
Make sure that the issues and problems that are out of its control are properly and timely escalated to Management.
Understands and assures compliance to the process and the product to the Customer specs and Industry standards that apply

Required Skills
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

College degree, technical degree as a minimum on human resources management, business management and/ or technically proficient on electrical, electronic or industrial engineering

SKILLS

Knowledgeable on manufacturing systems, communication skilled, applied problem solving methodologies like 8D’s, 5 why’s, 7 D’s, Drill Deep and Wide, Shainin, etc. Conflict resolution and mediation.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills is required. An assertive individual who is able to multi task in a pressurised environment would be ideal.

Required Experience
RELATED EXPERIENCE

3 years of service at a Supervisory level in a labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
