JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT – WADEVILLE (3144)

Our Client is looking to recruit a Junior Accountant that has a passion for Accounts

The ideal candidate will provide financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts; preparing reports and reporting to Management

Maintain financial records for subsidiary companies by analysing balance sheets and general ledger accounts

Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information

Provide financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects

Correct errors by posting adjusting journal entries

Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries; analysing and reconciling of debtors and creditors, preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals

Secure financial information by completing database backups; keeping the information confidential

Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures

Dealing with queries

Requirements

Completed B.Com Degree in Accounting

Computer literate

Reside on the East Rand

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

A criminal and ITC check will be completed on successful candidates
