Behavioural Requirements

Ability to work under minimal instruction

Flexibility concerning working hours is required
Able to influence senior stakeholders; develops and maintains strong working relationships with stakeholders
Adapts to constantly changing work requirements while assimilating new information, analyzing it and effectively applying it
Brings innovative thinking to bear on content development opportunities
Takes initiative and is proactive in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment

Quickly defines problems, collects input, conducts assessments, draws conclusions and problem-solves

Education:

Recognizable qualification in marketing or communications

Experience:

8-10 years’ experience, of which 3 years is at a senior management level or 5 years at a management level

Professional Services experience or working in a matrix organization managing a communications function is preferred

About the role

The role is based in Sandton, South Africa and forms part of the Africa Brand, Marketing & Communications team, which is responsible for external brand and communications, design, digital communication, events, thought leadership, alumni programme, and internal communication. The Brand, Marketing and Communication team forms part of Accounts & Business Development (ABD) in Core Business Services. The Africa region is a single business spanning 33 countries and includes over 260 partners and 5,000 people. The Africa region is one of the largest and most diverse businesses in EY and is made up of four service lines: Assurance, Advisory, Tax and Transaction Advisory Services.
