Position Purpose:

Strategically develop, promote and integrate national work programs and systems in order to reduce hazmat fire and

emergency-related losses and risk exposures and to ensure that TFR complies with statutory, legislative and international

requirements.

Drive improvements in routing, field execution of routing, and fleet optimization. Lead initiatives to reduce cost and improve

customer service.

Ensure fire records are complete and support cost recovery actions through Interdepartmental or Operating Division

Cross-billings and further support cost recovery actions through National, Provincial cross-billings

Position outputs:

1.Gather, analyse and consolidate HFE related reports (monthly, bi-annually and annually)

2.Maintain and complete Documents, Reports, Source Documents and all other relevant administrative documents, Incidents

and Procurements.

3.Maintain Hazmat and Fire Operational Readiness and perform functions in terms specialist on Infrastructure, Project

Management, Vehicle and Equipment Specification and Procurement Processes

4.Plan, co-ordinate and manage Projects, Tasks to be executed and Report to HFE-Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 Certificate.
B – Tech in Fire Technology (NQF 7).
Code 10 (C1) Driver’s License be in a position to drive such a vehicle.
Six (6) Years minimum experience in Hazmat Fire and Emergency Services environment.
Knowledge of Project Management in the Hazmat Fire and Emergency Services environment
