Shaw Academy is seeking a Graphic Designer with experience, to use their skills and knowledge to design the presentations and content delivered by our educators to thousands of students every month, across Shaw Academy website and app.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing PowerPoint and other types of presentations and using editing and other types of recording software. Candidate must have knowledge of the Adobe Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Skills with Premiere Pro and After Effects a plus.
Job Description:
Work closely with the Educator team taking draft presentations and creating engaging content and presentations for our students
Work closely with the Educators to support them with video editing to ensure a best in class superior product for our students
Actively scope task-time, prioritize tasks, estimate solutions, execute and track efforts
Take responsibility for overall student satisfaction with the product and design.
Act as a gatekeeper and ensure the visual quality of our courses is best in class.
Actively research new presentation methods
Skills Required:
Excellent written and verbal English communication, presentation and analytical skills.
3+ years dedicated hands-on graphic design experience – working with Powerpoint a specific advantage
Knowledge of the Adobe Suite – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Video editing skills – Premiere Pro or similar program desirable (Final Cut, Videopad etc.)
A portfolio of recent, relevant work
