We offer a competitive salary plus provident fund and optional medical aid for a Cash & COD Clerk to work at our Masterparts Durban branch. The position requires you to work Monday to Friday and every second Saturday.

The duties will include:

Receipting COD’s, EFT’s, and Debit/Credit card payments.
Reconciling credits.
Cashing up a cash register.
Resolving queries with customers.
Resolving queries with drivers.
Ensuring sales people and drivers adhere to company protocols.
Reporting any deviations from company protocols and suspicious activities.
Filing.
Relieving the another Cash & COD clerk as required.
Relieving the switchboard operators as required.
Ad Hoc duties as required.

We are looking for a matriculant with at least three years experience in a similar role. You must have at least three years experience working on a computerised point of sales system with an clear understanding of various payments methods and reconciliing credits. You must be able to reconcile delivery sheets with multiple transaction of varying payment types and credits.

You must be competent in using the various programs in the MS Office Suite.
