Financial Administration Officer needed: APPLY NOW

JOB PURPOSE:

The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible to organize company’s day-to-day accounting procedures, maintaining records for all transactions, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports and processing reimbursements. Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions. Manage accounts receivable and payable and review and process reimbursements. Experience of controlling the payment of suppliers and managing bank accounts essential. QuickBooks experience would be an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
A formal accounting or administration qualification at Diploma or University Degree (B Com Business Administration or similar)
Interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate
Financial reporting
Analytical ability
Problem-solving skills
Knowledge of IT software
Commercial acumen
MS Office Suite and particularly Excel
Experience of controlling the payment of suppliers
Ability to prepare reports for management and third parties
Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse finance information
Administration experience
Able to work independently
Ability to travel between sites and internationally

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance

Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
Manage accounts receivables and payable
Review and process reimbursements
Prepare budgets
Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates
Keep records of invoices and payments received
Manage the company’s liabilities and debtors
Identify, address and interrogate account discrepancies
Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
Produce management reports for manager
Prepare cash flow forecasts
Quality Monitoring

Support managers in the production of Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly monitoring reports
Collating and recording support performance data (client contact)
Collect information as agreed and maintain records
Administration

Respond to queries and provide information where requested
General office duties
Manage contracts database
Other general duties as determined by the Executive Director
