Seeking a candidate fill the role of News Editor

More than 1 year in broadcasting journalism or informative short video production
Proficient in English
Familiar with hard news field and concentrate on any of trending news/entertainment/sports
Always sensitive to hot topics in social media
Experience in independently exacting core information of a story and able to write script/informative subtitles
Skilled in using video editing software such as FINAL CUT PRO, ADOBE PREMIERE, etc., with professional video editing capabilities, such as mastering visual language in arranging footage, image, sound, plot with logic & knowing how to attract and hook audience in a short video
High degree of cooperation, strong sense of time management, multinational team communication and coordination, teamwork and execution ability
Skilled in using AFTER EFFECT an advantage
Ability of shooting/interviewing/anchoring advantageus

Duties:

Responsible for the daily work of video content, including video editing, title writing, review, push, etc.
Deep understanding of SA Culture, resident’s preferences, social media etc and understand video trends and understand video styles
The operation of social media accounts, responsible for publishing content, planning activities, maintain followers, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: R10,000.00 /month

Experience:
