Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for P&L reporting:
Management accounts
Budget vs actual per project
Financial commentary
Oversight of all supplier contracts
Providing inputs on cost per student and other cost efficiencies
Tracking matched funding and forecasting
Preparation of all external reporting to funders
Responsible for all compliance and governance tasks
Responsible for physical access controls and safeguarding of assets
Signing off all stipend payments and associated payroll
Oversight of insurance requirements at various campuses
Providing support on all audits
Management of Jobs Fund loan model including monitoring of accounts receivable and support collections agency with loan collection efforts
Maintaining expense spend budget/costings for travel etc in line with expense policy
Working with business development team to forecast costs for any proposals
Assist with setting budgets for each programme and ensuring that spend against budget reporting is produced
Track burn rate of programme spend and flag risks
Review staffing and deployment plan to ensure appropriate salary cost allocations
Support effective client relationships and submit project invoices in a timely manner, and based on contracted or agreed timelines
Ensuring all documentation is in place for the efficient sign off of invoices
Assist with analysing financial performance and in creating a long-term financial forecast
Assist with cost-cutting initiatives; always look for continuous improvement in reducing spend whilst increasing quality
Working with management teams to help make sound financial decisions
Developing and managing financial systems, processes and policies
Security measures and holding relevant person Responsible
Management of Rental Agreements/Space
Due Diligence- Accreditation – Annual-Quarterly.
Minimum Education
Degree, Diploma, Certificate in Accounting.
Experience-based and relevant course work.
Minimum & Basic Experience Needed
10+ years’ related experience.
Sage Evolution.

Salary – R35k – R40k pm ctc, depending experience.
