Job & Company Description:

My client is a large and innovative Property Management firm based in Johannesburg north and are in need of a BCom Accounting qualified Financial Manager to plan and direct the accounting activities of the finance department. The Financial Manager will take responsibility of but is not limited to, providing strategic input into the policies and procedures of the department, rolling out head office controls and processes, overseeing the treasury and investment functions of the property portfolios as well as manage the full financial function of all property portfolio’s under management. The incumbent will also need to possess a natural leadership style as there is a requirement for the individual to guide 5 direct reports, is able to work well under pressure and is able to interact with clients confidently at all times.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom Accounting is a non – negotiable BCom Honours in Accounting or CA(SA) is an added advantage Audit experience is beneficialMinimum of 3 – 5 years’ working experience with BCom Degree Minimum of 2 – 3 years” working experience with a CA(SA)2 years’ proven management experience Property or consulting experience needed Great Plains Accounting systems is advantageous Natural leader Full financial function exposure
