Key performance areas:
Empty all office waste bins and replace liners Clean all doors and door handles Clean coaches, tables and tidy magazines in reception areas Wipe and dust office furniture and equipment (telephones, light switches, sockets, etc.) Store cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated cupboards Monitor the usage and stock levels of groceries, consumables, and supplies Wash crockery and cutlery and pack it away neatly Clean sink, taps and wipe surrounding surfaces Empty kitchen waste bins Refill consumables i.e. coffee/tea bag tins, sugar bowl, etc. Disinfect and wash floors Setup crockery and refreshments for booked venues at scheduled times Tidy and clean areas after meetings and/or events Report anything in need of ordering, repair or replacement to management
Minimum Education and Training:
Grade 12 (preferable)
Minimum Work Experience:
At least 2 years performing similar work Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities:
Knowledge on the use of equipment and chemicals needed for cleaning Professional, organised and able to work quickly A strong work ethic and a positive approach tasks Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willing to take instructions from event’s organizers Punctual and good timekeeping Able to follow schedules and work to instructions Must be detail orientated Capable of carrying out physical activities Maintain effective working relationships with all staff and managers.
