Shaw Academy is seeking an experienced Psychologist to use their skills and knowledge to educate thousands of students every month in helping to improve their mental health and wellness. Teach students how to manage stress, deal with anxiety and overcome behavioral issues.
The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Psychology, have professional experience within the industry, presentation skills to communicate your knowledge and create top-quality content for their lessons. The Role:
Create a course in Psychology, put your own stamp on it and create something awesome for students to improve their wellbeing.
Creating and delivering engaging and informative lessons, at both a beginner and an advanced level.
Providing support and building student rapport throughout the lesson.
Use data and student feedback to drive enhancements of your lessons
Think about future courses related to Psychology to build out a faculty of courses in the area.
What you’ll bring to the team:
A degree in Psychology
Experience using presentation software (PowerPoint, video editing)
Knowledge of psychological theory and practice.
Interest in how people think and behave.
Good research skills.
Ability to relate to and empathize with a range of people.
Good teamworking skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Sensitive listening and questioning skills.
Experienced or ability to deliver engaging content (training or education experience is an advantage but not mandatory)
Understanding of learning outcomes and comfortable with speaking to audiences
Student (customer) focus
High energy, passion and the ability to take initiative, as it is needed and student feedback to drive enhancements of your lessons
