Purpose of the Job:

The effective and efficient operation of the company 8-ton refrigerated trucks to deliver allocated loads to customers on time and in full, acting proactively to ensure all orders are delivered, provide exceptional customer service, ensure the cold chain remains unbroken right up to the customer’s receiving. Management of company assets including trucks, stock, pallets, cranes, boards and drums

Key Performance Areas:

Drive & Maintain Delivery vehicle & fridge.
Perform daily load plan.
Ensure customer service is according to World Class Standards, liaison with the customer receiving bays.
Maintain cold chain of the product.
Health, safety & quality.

Education, Experience and competencies required:

Grade 12
Valid Code 10 driver Licence with PRDP.
Good interpersonal skills / builds good relationships
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and self-management
Numerical ability
Ability to adapt to change effectively
Lives the values of the organisation – World-class customer service
Disciplined and time conscious
Multi-Task – must be prepared to carry out any lawful and reasonable instruction
