Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate & Senior) required reporting to a team of 5 Senior Surveyors
B.Sc or B.Tech or National Higher Diploma Quantity Surveying qualification essential
5 to 10 years of experience gained on multi-level building projects with preference given to applications of people who have 6 to 8 stories residential building project experience.
Billsoft OR ConQuest knowledge preferred
Must have a valid Passport
Must be willing to relocate to Ireland subject to visa approval
DUTIES:
Preparing tender and contract documents
Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
Performing risk, value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
Allocating work to subcontractors
Providing advice on contractual claims
Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
Valuing completed work and arranging payments
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use

Upcoming projects include:
3 Apartment projects ranging from 75m to 120m all in Dublin. Large concrete structures either in-situ or precast with bathroom pods. Mid-range specification, 6- 8 floors in height.
35m Data Centre inclusion full fit-out of the Halls
Industrial project for an American food-based company which includes conversion of an existing industrial building into a new production facility. Overall value 80m
85m project consisting of two hotels in Dublin city centre.
Overall turnover for next year expected to be in the 350 to 400m range.
Our client has four construction directors and a team of 12 Contractors Managers.
Overall staff number of circa 330 covering all grades(excluding trades and labour)
