Gate Controller (shift-work) wanted immediately: Salary R8 000 to R10 000 per month

We are an established transport company and require a dedicated and reliable Gate Controller at our head-office in Pretoria-East. The successful candidate will work 4-day shifts on rotation, and should ideally reside in Pretoria East.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Gate Controller will actively be engaged in the following duties: – Control all incoming and outgoing gate traffic (i.e. employees and authorized visitors etc.)- Ensure that the visitor form is completed and signed upon the visitor’s entry and departure.- Conduct vehicle inspections to prevent unauthorized removal of company or client property.- Continuously monitor all cameras.- Report any suspicious or dangerous activity with immediate effect.- Engage in any ad-hoc duties as and when required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

– Grade 12 qualification.- Relevant experience beneficial, however not required.- Proficient verbal and written communication in English and Afrikaans.- Excellent attention to detail.- Willing to work longer hours with 4-day shifts on rotation.- Driver’s license and own transport.- Ideally residing in Pretoria-East. Must have contactable references, no job hoppers will be considered.

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION: R8000 – R10000 p/m CTC, depending on skills and experience.
