DesleeMattex is looking for an experienced Code 10 Driver to join our Company.

Job Purpose

To deliver products to Customers timeously and to operate a heavy-duty vehicle in a safe and economical manner and in compliance with legal and operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Must be familiar with Cape Town and surrounding areas.
2 years of driving experience.
Valid Code 10 license with PDP.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
Ability to communicate in English.
Good driving record.

Key Performance Areas:

Vehicle maintenance
Deliveries and collections
Additional duties continued
Picking of Customer Reports
Binning of Ticking
Stock Take
Safety and Housekeeping
Administration.

Duties:

Ensure timeous delivery of the product.
Ability to follow routes and time schedules.
Loading and unloading products.
Complete standard vehicle checklist as per maintenance checklist.
Comply with the company code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
Know, understand and comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
Participate in Stocktake.
Complete Trip sheets and submit them after each shift.
Ensure that the delivery note corresponds to the load delivered.
Ensure that there is a POD for each trip.
