MTCINE (MikroTik Certified Inter-networking Engineer) 4 years Minimum is a must

MTCTE (MikroTik Certified Traffic Control Engineer) would be beneficial

MikroTik Support Engineer (MTCINE)

Based in Johannesburg

· 5/6 Years’ experience and extensive knowledge in the Internet/Telecommunications Service Provider Hardware and software of MikroTik

. Willing to work with various systems for configuration and monitoring, Ruckus, Unifi, UNMS, the Dude, PRTG, HotSpot System

· Packet Analysis knowledge (e.g. Wireshark)

· Advance Networking knowledge in VLANS, PPP, Dynamic Routing, BGP, OSPF, IPSec, QoS, PCQ, Queues, Firewall, and filter rules

· Site-to-site or remote access knowledge and experience in order to provide solutions

· Provide expert-level technical support to clients

· Interact with clients, suppliers and internal team members

· Adhere to policies and procedures

· Assume ownership of escalated tickets

· Continuously look for methods of improvement, long term solutions, and proactive maintenance

· SLA Adherence, a must

· Diagnosing technical related complaints and proposing solutions and POC (proof of concept)

· Generate training material, knowledge base info, and customer-facing documentation.

· Maintain documentation and internal procedures

· Mentoring and support of technical teams

· Must be able to assist in Installations and taking over existing Network environments.

· Site Surveys for new Installations.

Salary will be market-related and onsite Practical will be given.
