We are searching for an Architect with 3- 5 years experience in the JHB Area

Projects can include anything from High-end residential, Commercial and Retail.

compile technical information for use in the planning of projects, such as client requirements, site surveys, and building regulations
prepare plans using computer-aided design Revit software, as well as traditional drawing methods
prepare applications for approval by regulatory bodies
develop specifications for construction work
provide advice on technical matters to the project team
visit sites to check on progress and inspect work

As an Architect you’ll have a broader range of responsibilities and can oversee a project from start to finish. As well as the duties above, you’ll also:

assess client requirements and carry out feasibility studies
draw up a project brief and programme of work
carry out risk assessments of design plans
help to manage contract bids and tenders
provide professional advice to clients and the construction team
manage and coordinate the work of the design team
Degree in Architecture or higher

3 to 5 years of experience ( including Site )
Competent in using Autodesk’s Revit (non-negotiable)
Exposure to Project Management would be an advantage
Competent in stages 1 to 6 of a project
