Description

Using telephone and email to contact debtors to ensure payment of outstanding invoices are made on time
Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment
Resolving internal and external queries around outstanding invoices on a timeous basis
Allocation of daily receipts to accounting system Syspro
Resolve all requests from the customer, copy invoices, proof of delivery, reconciliations, copy credit notes.
Ensuring all account balances are reconciled on a monthly basis
Distribution of customer statements on a monthly basis
Ensuring customer discounts are allocated on a regular basis

Job experience and skills required:

Matric (Grade 12) / Equivalent
Previous work experience as a debtor’s clerk (Minimum three years)
Able to handle a debtors book of +/- 300 customers
Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
Experience in calling customers
Ability to handle difficult customers in a calm manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Advanced excel skills (Including vlookup, sumif, etc)
Deadline driven
High attention to detail
Team player
Afrikaans an advantage
