Specification:

Check stock according to times as communicated by the Warehouse Manager.
Offload containers in the prescribed manner
Stock must be packed according to FIFO method and at the correct location as confirmed by the stock controller
Stock received at a store point must be checked for correct quantity, quality/damages and if it is at the correct store point.
When stock is received at a store point it must be completed immediately after checking
Scanned stock need to be sent to the correct store point via goods lift or conveyor belt. Stock sent to store points need to be written down in the book and in turn signed for by the receiving person.
Stock that is offloaded from the container must be sorted and packed with the barcodes on the outside to enable scanners to scan after purchases have been made

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:
Matric
At least 1-year experience in a similar role
Basic computer knowledge will be added as an advantage

Skills:
Using information technology (e.g. the company’s in-house supply chain system Customer service
Teamwork
Flexibility
Administrative accuracy
Good verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge:
Basic math
Stocktaking
Health and safety
Best storage practices to mitigate risk in terms of damage, loss of stock
Inventory keeping
Use of systems and information technology
