Morning Veterinary Receptionist wanted: Salary R4 000 to R4 500 per month

Greet and assist clients and their pets, in a polite, friendly and informed manner.
Must speak English well and have good numeracy skills.
Matric (High School) Education or higher.
Must have driver’s licence and own vehicle.
Work hours are normally 07h30 to 13h00. You leave when all the clients have been served so finishing time is fluid.
Monday to Friday and every second Saturday (09h00 to 12h00).
Answer all telephonic and electronic queries/problems.
Capture client info onto MICROVET and book an appointment as necessary.
Capture invoices from suppliers and clients onto SAGE.
Receive product orders, recon delivery note, capture stock, price and pack on the shelves.
Work with the other staff members present, assisting them when they ask for help.

Paperwork includes but is not limited to: writing letters, sending scripts/orders, filing, invoices, reading meters, product deals and promotions.

Attend and study for nutritional and other courses deemed relevant for your position.
Help run the appointment schedule for house calls (VETonWHEELS).
Keep and balance a petty cash tin.
Copy/fax/scan and email documents.
Keep the reception area clean, including the floor when pets have an accident.
Anything else that might be needed in the clinic, as necessary.
