INTRODUCTION

QPro Feeds is a dynamic Animal Feed Manufacturing business with a facility in both Bethlehem and Vrede. We are responsible for producing animal feed to in-house clients as well as external clients in the monogastric and ruminant fields.

JOB FUNCTION

The Forklift Driver loads, lifts and moves feed bags on pallets within or outside the company’s premises.

JOB PERFORMANCE AREAS

Report any damage caused while performing duties to management.
Off-loading and stacking of inventory as per standard policies and procedures.
Operate forklift as per manufacturer specifications and internal policy.
Keep forklift clean, neat and maintained as per manufacturer instructions, policies and procedures.
Do daily inspections on the forklift as determined by the inspection report and report any faults or variances to management.
Comply with OH&S as well as Food Safety requirements as per QPro standards and procedures.
Keep to all safety regulations including legislation pertaining to the handling and operating of the forklift.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or NQF 4
Minimum of 3-year experience in the FMCG industry
Willing to work shifts and overtime
Traceable references
Valid Forklift Licence or willingness to go through re-assessment
