Receptionist/Administration Assistant needed: APPLY HERE

A Tourism based company in Franschhoek is looking for a vibrant, friendly and service-oriented Receptionist. Candidate must have excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and talk clearly to members of the public and large groups of people from varying backgrounds.

The individual needs to be passionate about the Hospitality/Tourism industry. They need to be committed to providing the highest level of customer service and have the ability to stay calm and handle difficult situations confidently and sensitively.

We operate on a 7-day basis including Public Holidays, thus you will be required to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage all incoming phone calls. (Switchboard)
Manage all incoming enquiries
Managing daily transfers
Receiving all incoming deliveries and ensuring this gets distributed to the correct staff member
Taking, updating and sending all administrative meeting minutes
Managing the overall cleanliness of the admin offices
Managing all lost and found items and enquiries
Manage all postage items and checking the P.O. Box
Ensuring that admin office kitchen consumables are refilled when needed
Assisting in the Ticket Office when needed
Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
General assistance to managers in administration tasks
Local Marketing to B&B’s and Guesthouses
All-rounder in terms of standing in where required on busy days

Qualifications, Skills and Work Experience:

Matric Certificate
Minimum of 1 years’ work experience in a relevant role
Good with both written and spoken word
Excellent communication skills
Computer literate
Well organized and methodical
Attention to detail, sound analytical skills

Requirements

Must reside in the Franschhoek/Paarl/Stellenbosch Area
Must have a valid license
Must have own Transport
Must be fluent in English, Afrikaans (beneficial)
