Manufacturer and Supplier of quality commercial and industrial catering equipment and accessories requires a Storeman to join the team based in Industria

Responsibilities will include the following :

Receive picking slips for branch orders and counter sales.

Pick stock accurately and timeously as per picking slips.

Bring low stock levels to the attention of the Supervisor to facilitate re-ordering and the maintaining of the acceptable stock levels;

Pack the picked stock into boxes and label them clearly;

Issue spares to Technicians

Collect imported stock from the Warehouse

Check the imported stock against the file and packing slip and sign for them;

Pack the imported stock into the allocated bays once they have been GRV’d;

On receipt of credit notes and stock from the branches, fetch the invoices and ask the Supervisor to check;

Insure accuracy of spares received into stores and sent out from stores

Assist with stock take preparation and pre-counting

Participate in quarterly stock takes (work on weekends)

On receipt of requisitions from the Technicians, pick the spares required;

Issue the spares to the Technicians ensuring that both the Storeman and the Technician sign the requisition;

Minimum requirement for this position:

Grade 12

Computer literacy an advantage (knowledge of Syspro an advantage)

Experience minimum of 2 – 3 years in the same or similar environment
