Responsibilities:

Check goods to ensure the correct items are being received per the POD and that the quality meets the company standards.
Ensure all goods being delivered are as per our companies request as specified on a relative company PO with a valid Authorisation number (cross reference to Purchase order supplied by the Buying department to the supplier).
Ensure quantities and pricing corresponds to the relevant POD.
Once the goods are verified to be complete and accurate, GRV the goods into the system.
If items need to be returned to the supplier a “RTS” needs to be completed and approved by the Operations Manager before any item is returned to a supplier.
Once the GRV is completed a copy of this GRV will be placed with the consignment in the designated area for the responsible pickers to move to the allocated shelves.
Ensure housekeeping is complete at the end of each day and ensure management is made aware of all incomplete tasks and pending queries.
Communicate with the Buying team on all deliveries, queries, and shortages.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be computer literate.

Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position

Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

Excellent organizational skills

Great communication and interpersonal abilities

Keen eye for detail

Kerridge will be an advantage

Please note:

Working hours are from 7 am – 18 pm (NO CLOCK WATCHERS)

Own transport is crucial
