Packer/Forklift Driver wanted immediately: Salary R9 274 per month

Minimum qualification:

Matric
Forklift license, preferably to 7 tons
DELIVERABLES/KPAs (but not limited to …)

1. Visual inspection of condition of material

2. Correcting of stacking by using mallet if not within specified stacking tolerance

3. Packing and strapping of material as per standard procedure:-

Covering pack with plastic/tape.
Adding plastic if required.
Strapping by means of auto strapping machine.

4. Re-packing of material if required due to damage or incorrect stacking.

5. Ensuring the availability of packing material by monitoring physical stock levels.

6. General housekeeping of the packing area.

7. Ability to work overtime and / or shift work as and when required per operational requirements.

8. Assist production department with driving of forklift as and when required

COMPETENCIES/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

1-year general experience in steel/manufacturing industry
Preferably lifting equipment license of some sort (forklift and/or crane)
Preferable some electronic/automatic or guillotine machine operation experience.
