Residential Rental Agent / Property / Estate Agents – South of Johannesburg

Are you a self-starter, with a strong sales background, customer service focused and target driven?
My client is currently looking to recruit a Residential Rental Agent in: Johannesburg South, their office is based in Bassonia.

You will start with an existing rental book, maintain the current book and grow it, view properties, take photo’s, list photo’s on the various property platforms, liaise with clients, generate leads, do deals.

There is a team handling administration and marketing so your function will be relationship selling.

It is not essential that you have experience in the property industry because you will receive training but it is essential that you are a self-starter, have sales and customer service experience and are target driven and have the following minimum requirements: –

Matric
No criminal record
Driver’s licence
Own presentable reliable car and smart phone – non-negotiable
Experience in sales/rentals/marketing/ public relations or similar
Excellent English ability, especially within a business environment
Must reside in the area and/or surrounding areas
The following will be advantageous but NOT essential: Experience in Real Estate (Residential or commercial) Relevant NQF4 Qualification.

This position is ideally suited for a male because some viewings will take place at night, some will be in commercial buildings, in industrial areas but the majority of the rental are residential.

You will receive:

Basic salary of R8000-00 per month
Petrol and Cellphone Allowance R2500-00
Commission which is calculated on a sliding scale
Majority of the agents are earning approx. R6000-00 commission per month but if you are prepared to put in the work and do what it takes you can earn far more. The ball is in your court.
