The main purpose for a Sales Assistant is to provide excellent customer service by ensuring that the hospitality drivers are in place and thereby optimizing sales.

Qualifications:

Grade 12/Equivalent
1-2 years of retail experience
Computer literate
Communication skills- fluent in English (any other language would be beneficial)
Responsibilities

Giving customer care, interact and communicate with customers, and genuinely be of service.
Accurate and efficient till operation skills.
A high standard of work on the sales floor, dedication in maintaining quality standards/ housekeeping standards, willingness to take initiative if a job needs to be done.
Willingness to consistently apply shop values and policies and procedures in all aspects of your work.

Skills:

Greeting customers who enter the shop.
Be involved in stock control and management.
Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
Being responsible for processing cash and card payments.
Stocking shelves with merchandise.
Answering queries from customers.
Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: R6,000.00 to R8,000.00 /hour
