Key responsibilities include:

Effectively supporting the electrical team to high levels of service delivery
Efficiently resolving breakdown related problems on site.
Effective Planned Maintenance and the ongoing improvement thereof.
Documentation control
Liaising with relevant internal customers/suppliers.
Safety and Housekeeping of the department.
Effective cost control.
Control of spares stock levels.
Fault finding on electrical systems, PLC controlled systems and variable frequency drives.
Reduction of electrical breakdowns coupled with continuous improvements in machine uptime.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Be a qualified Electrical Artisan with at least N6.
National Diploma or B-Tech in Electronic Engineering would be an added advantage
Have at least 4 years of experience in a high-speed environment.
Have problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Have good knowledge of electronics
Be competent on Siemens PLCs, Siemens S5 and S7, AC/DC Drives
Have good communication and people skills and be a team player.
Be willing/able to work closely with production
Have good planning and organizational skills
Be able to work under pressure, work overtime and be on call-out when required.
PC literate, capable to use all MS Office applications
