Responsibilities:

Bank reconciliation
Maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end processing and reports
VAT return preparation and reconciliation
Assist with year-end audits
Reconcile intercompany loan accounts
Pastel bookkeeping to trial balance
Generating of management statements
Payroll processing through the pastel payroll
UI19’s and Ufiling
EMP201 and Emp501 submissions to SARS efiling
IRP5 generation through Easy File
Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc duties

Desired Experience & Qualification:

BCom degree
Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience
Experience with Sage Pastel will be beneficial
Experience with Caseware Working Papers will be beneficial
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables)
Attention to detail
Basic VAT knowledge
Ability to work independently
Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
