JavaScript Development on a platform used to assist in the development, testing, analysis, reporting, and planning of online parts ordering user portal.

Development and maintenance on platform/application – frontend development experience is mandatory.

Meet with end-users and gather requirements and facilitate stand-ups.

Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.

Review and present to Product Owners.

Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.

Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).

User training.

System testing/parallel runs, system implementation and system audits/quality assurance.

Qualifications and experience required:

Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in similar role.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively. You will be part of an International Team and will be required to travel internationally and therefore excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users is a must. Must be willing to deal with customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.

Ability to work as part of an agile team, inter-dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality.

Flexibility to take up different tasks in the team.

Technical skills required:

Java EE / Java

JavaScript + JS UI frameworks (ReactJS / Angular, NodeJS)

HTML5, CSS3 and EJB

RESTful and SOAP services

CI (Continuos Integration)

SQL (Oracle, Postgres)

Test Driven Development, IntelliJ / WebStorm

Build Tools (Maven/ Gradle/ Gulp/grunt/web pack)

Jenkins (CI (Continuos Integration) / DevOps), Typescript

Understanding ESB Integration Skill (IIB, Tibco, Oracle fusion, MQS, Messaging concepts).

Working with Queues, Flows, Execution Groups.

Openshift (docker, etc)

Java EE Container (Glassfish (Payara), Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere).

Git, Bitbucket, SVN, IoC / Dependency Injection.

Jira, Confluence, Micro Services & DevOps

Advantageous skills: NodeJS

Java Microprofile (Jax-RS)

REST / (oData / GraphQL
