The Financial Clerk is to assist with financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Bank reconciliation (allocation and clearance of deposits)
Follow up and assist branches with unresolved queries
Assist with expense creditors process
Assist with the management of sundry debtors
General ledger duties/ month ends /journals
Maintain financial records
Balance sheet recons
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 with accountancy as a subject
Diploma, BCom or BTech with Accounting
Basic accountancy knowledge
Experience
2 – 3 years of working experience in an accounting environment
