Job Description:

The Roofbolter Operator is responsible to operate a mobile mechanized roofbolter underground to the required mining and safety standards. Drill and install roofbolts as per the code of practice.

Qualifications:

Standard 8 & NQF – Level 3

Plan execution of work orders
Application of work standards
Quality of work completed
Decisions within the allocated schedule of work and safety standards
Changing tasks and machine settings to minimize the effect of unexpected problems
Stop the operation if the working conditions are unsafe

Additional Information:

Certified competent as a Roofbolter Operator
VTS testing suitable grading
Valid driving license Code 10
