Forklift Driver Day Shift required urgently: APPLY HERE

A logistics company in Gauteng seeks to attract a qualified forklift driver. This role entails that CHEP pallets are sorted, correctly stacked, and loaded. The forklift driver will also assist with loading and offloading vehicles as required.

Sorting, stacking, and loading of pallets

Loading of Vehicles when required

Offload vehicles when required

Operate Forklift safely, and conduct required checks

Checking of stock in the warehouse once offloaded

Preparing pallets staking and wrapping of stock to be loaded onto vehicles

Staging of stock for loading onto vehicles

Cleaning the complete forklift by washing it with the required detergents.

Subjecting the forklift to regular maintenance by outside contractors

Removing any of the damaged products caused by his forklift and reporting this to the supervisor.

Sweeping up any spilled product immediately and placing waste in the correct receptacles

Assisting with daily stock counts and counting of stock as per Management instruction.

Assisting management with any reasonable ad hoc task due to the flexibility of our operation

Required Skills:

driving forklift 1 to 2 years
CHEP Pallet standards 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent

1year experience in driving a forklift

Valid forklift license
