Authorised Electrician required urgently: APPLY HERE

We looking for an Eskom authorized MV Electrician. Authorization should not have expired and be valid for 4 months after the start date.

Duties & Responsibilities:

MV – Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers, RMU’s and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Perform MV switching
MV jointing and termination certificate (heat shrink and cast iron)

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric.
Relevant qualification.
A valid driver’s license.
At least 3 years of experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician.
Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
Valid driver’s license code 10 with PDP.
MV electrical system, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair knowledge.
Valid MV authorization
