Forklift Operator/ Driver urgently needed: APPLY NOW

Purpose of the Job:

Load trailers with shipment/ any other cargo required, unload all trailers (boards, pallets & raw materials) and stack product safely and efficiently while maintaining our governance and Customer service standards. Carry out any other reasonable instruction/ request from superior.

Key Performance Areas:

Operate Equipment – Forklifts.
Ensure Trailer loaded correctly ensure that paperwork has been signed off and checked by Team Leader before loading.
Ensure correct stock handling & Housekeeping.
Work in Teams.
Health, safety & quality

Education, Experience, and competencies required:

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Experience in handling double fork machine.
Valid Forklift Driver License
Good interpersonal skills / builds good relationships – Good verbal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Numerical ability advantageous
Trustworthy
Cooperative, proactive and willing – Friendly
Consistently behaves in a manner that is appropriate and professional
Be responsible and reliable – must maintain dependable attendance and arrive at work on time
Able to work quickly and under pressure
