Actuarial Analyst needed urgently: Salary R500 000 to R600 000 per year

Assist with the quantitative aspects of the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) Solvency Assessment and Management (SAM) are successfully implemented and maintained

Quantify the standard formula capital requirements
Reserve and gather other actuarial requirements as part of the actuarial control cycle
Refine and maintain internal capital model
Ensure that reporting templates are completed
Assist the Head, Corporate Actuarial in actuarial reserving, reinsurance, capital modelling and analytical capabilities
Assist with the reinsurance renewal which ensures that the business always has effective reinsurance in place
Assist the risk management function
Provide risk and capital MIS for decision making purposes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: R500,000.00 – R600,000.00 per year

Experience:

Insurance Industry: 3 years (Preferred)
Actuarial or related work: 3 years (Required)

Education: Bachelors (Required)

Work Remotely: Temporarily due to COVID-19
