Job Title: Professional Driver

Driver required with Code 10 Drivers Licence and Professional Drivers Permit (PDP) for a Fixed Term Contract

Delivering a wide variety of Medical Goods, including trolleys and hospital beds
Following delivery driving routes and time schedules
Plan and Schedule Collections and Deliveries with the Warehouse Manager and Dispatch Team
Loading, unloading, preparing, and checking stock with the company and clients
Inspecting, operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle
Responsible for small installations and assembly on site
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of products
Represent the Medicare brand with clients in a professional manner
Will be required to work overtime sometimes, or do overnight trips to outlying areas, including North West, Northern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid and up to date Professional Drivers Permit (PDP)
Valid and up to date Code 10 Driver’s Licence
Exceptionally strong delivery and driving experience, preferably with a courier- or delivery company
Minimum 5 years drivers/delivery job experience required
Essential to have a strong understanding and knowledge of the Gauteng roads
Essential to have strong IT and Microsoft Office Skills, network skills will be advantageous
Extremely organized and well planned, must be able to multi-task
Strong and able-bodied to handle deliveries, offloading and loading of heavy medical furniture and equipment

Office Hours:
