for this 4-month FIXED TERM Tutor post at BERGVLIET HIGH commencing 1 August 2020:
A newly retired or qualified Mathematics Educator is required to run an on-site afternoon tutoring programme for Grade 12. This programme will run daily from 15h00 for approximately 2 hours.
Requirements:
Ø Applicants must have a University Degree with Maths as a Major, plus a relevant PGCE or similar 4-year qualification.
Ø A minimum of 4 years teaching Mathematics up to matric.
Ø Applicants must be SACE registered or be able to show evidence that they have applied for registration.
Ø Applicants must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Fully computer literate in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Powerpoint, Outlook, and use of the internet.
Ø Effective learner management skills are essential.
Ø Experience in teaching on interactive whiteboards would be an advantage.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
