Driver – Code 14 wanted immediately: APPLY NOW

REQUIREMENTS:

 Matric + Well spoken
 Preferably 2 Official Languages
 License 2 years and older
 5 Years Driver Experience
 Volvo and Scania is Advantageous
 No Criminal Record
 Physically strong and healthy
 Clear criminal record
 Neat and well-groomed (PPE must be clean and worn at all times)
 Valid driver’s licence (Code 14) and Pdp

Adhoc Functions:

 Directing drivers while reversing ensuring it is safe to do so
 Communicating with zone controllers via cell phone
 Ensuring cleanliness of vehicle both internally and externally
 Ensuring all tools and equipment used are kept clean and stored as required.
 Reporting any losses, damages and discrepancies with regard to cargo, equipment and paperwork
 Greeting and interacting with clients in a polite and pleasant manner

Additional Requirements:

 Willingness to work overtime
 Own transport advantageous as transport will only be provided when legislatively required and in some instances be charged to employee
 Computer skill advantageous
 Own cell phone in working condition
 Approx. 5 years previous freight experience advantageous
 Willingness to take a pre-employment polygraph test
 Must have at least 2 contactable references
